The Arthritis Foundation’s JA Family Day will provide a safe and secure experience for families of children and teens with juvenile arthritis and other childhood rheumatic diseases. Families and kids will have the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of juvenile arthritis, connect with others, increase independence and self-confidence, and discover new skills and interests. Bring the whole family!
JA DAY
Wisconsin Juvenile Arthritis (JA) Family Day will be hosted this year at the Hilton Garden Inn in Middleton, WI. Our JA Family Day program is designed to connect families, siblings, care-givers and children with Juvenile Arthritis and other rheumatic diseases. Breakout sessions with health care professionals and arthritis experts as well as family-friendly activities provides families with tools, tips and lasting friendships to help them cope with this disease.
While the actual event takes place on Sunday, Sept. 20 at the Hilton Garden Inn, this year we are also offering families some optional gathering and networking time on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Spare Time Bowling and back at the Hilton Garden Inn where we also have a room block.
For those coming on the 19, we will meet at Spare Time (7415 Mineral Point Rd, Madison, WI 53717) at 3:30 p.m. Pizza & soda will be provided at 5:30 p.m. At 6:30 p.m. we will head back to the hotel for a movie for the kids and networking for the parents at 7:30 p.m.

To book a room for Friday, Sept. 19 visit the hotel's special booking page for the Arthritis Foundation or call hotel directly at 608-831-2220 and mention Juvenile Arthritis Day. Rooms are $139 but will appear as $189 on website. When you pay, a $50 discount will apply.
