Summary - 2026 JA Family Summit

The annual Juvenile Arthritis Family Summit is the Arthritis Foundation’s signature, nationwide event for families affected by juvenile arthritis and childhood rheumatic diseases. This four-day educational summit focuses on health, wellness, and fun for families, children/teens (ages 6 months and up), and young adults (ages 18-25) affected by JA and related childhood rheumatic diseases.

Registration includes educational sessions for parents/caregivers, young adults (ages 18-25), kids (ages 6 months and up), and teen-specific programming and activities; siblings are also invited. In addition to the educational programming, registration includes six meals, breakfast and lunch (Friday) breakfast and closing dinner (Saturday), a light continental breakfast (Sunday) and attendee t-shirts.

The safety and security of our summit attendees is important to us. Therefore, registration for every family member attending any portion of summit events (adult and child) is required. Walk-up or onsite registrations are not available.

The JA Family Summit travel assistance application process is now closed. Applications submitted after 5:00p.m. EST on Monday, March 2, 2026 will not be considered.

Travel Assistance is available to young adults (ages 18 to 25) and children/teens diagnosed with juvenile arthritis or a related childhood rheumatic disease and their immediate family members who demonstrate a need for financial assistance to attend the JA Family Summit. The program financially supports those who otherwise would not be able to attend the summit and helps to ensure diverse representation. Travel assistance is not guaranteed for all applicants as there is limited funding available.
