Living Well with Diet and Nutrition highlights the powerful connection between food, inflammation, and arthritis symptoms. It explains how dietary choices can either worsen or reduce joint pain, emphasizing an anti-inflammatory approach to eating.
The presentation introduces key foods that support joint health, identifies common dietary triggers, and promotes practical, sustainable strategies such as food swaps and gradual habit changes. Using the Mediterranean-style pattern as a guide, it empowers participants to personalize their nutrition approach based on lifestyle, preferences, and resources reinforcing that small, consistent changes can lead to meaningful improvements in pain, energy, and overall well-being.
The session concludes with an interactive cooking demonstration featuring an anti-inflammatory recipe, giving participants a hands-on opportunity to see these principles in action and take home a practical, joint-friendly dish they can recreate.
This session is for people of all ages and mobility levels.
It is a free event, but pre-registration is required.
